Same picture, five years later: at this iconic corner in Kyiv, at the entrance to the Gulliver shopping center building, we took a photo back in 2016 with our first newborn son peacefully resting in his stroller bassinet.

In 2021, as we awaited the arrival of his little sister in March, we recreated the picture and were once again moved by our growing family, thanks to surrogacy, with Argentine nationality and Ukrainian hearts.

It was magical to return with our son, now aware of how wonderful his arrival was, and to convey our love and gratitude to all the people who were part of the process and to Ukraine, the land where he was born.

For families that have grown through an international surrogacy process, we highly recommend to return to your surrogacy destination when your children are old enough to understand the surrogacy process. It allows them to connect as a family with this country that has been so important in their lives. I assure you it will be a very natural and enriching experience for everyone, especially children.

You can find more about our surrogacy experience in Ukraine in our blog.
