Thanks to the provisional passport they received from the Argentine Consulate in Ukraine, allowing Julián to cross the borders from Ukraine to Poland, they were able to embark on their journey from Kyiv to Warsaw.
Due to the proximity from the birth date to obtaining the birth certificate translated into Spanish and apostilled by the surrogacy center's team (just a few days), when they looked for the closest available tickets, all the spots on direct trains from the Ukrainian capital to the Polish capital were already booked.
So, they traveled in two trains: first to the city of Chelm in Poland in a sleeper car, and from there, they connected to a regional train of just over three hours to Warsaw.
First, Nico takes us through the overnight train they departed from Kyiv Central Station. Pay attention to the littlest member of the family resting peacefully in his crib.
