Dream Garden in Kyiv

Kyiv boasts the title of one of the greenest cities in Europe. This is demonstrated by its National Botanical Garden, classified among the largest and richest gardens in the Old Continent.

It represents an oasis that amazes with its impeccable landscapes, saturated colors, and impressive biodiversity, 11,000 flowers and plants reflecting the flora of different parts of Ukraine and other countries around the world.

Spring at the Botanical Garden usually begins in April when the magnolias bloom. The most visited period of the botanical garden coincides with the blooming of the lilac garden, covering 2.5 hectares and featuring 21 out of 28 lilac species in the world.

Another wonderful feature of the lilac garden is that it offers impeccable views of the left bank of Kyiv and the Lavra Monastery.

Don't miss the Greenhouse, created to maintain a warm climate where tropical and subtropical plants are exhibited. In autumn, the greenhouse becomes a genuine marvel when over 650 varieties of orchids bloom.

The National Botanical Garden of Kyiv fascinates in spring and in all seasons of the year.
