A common question we are asked is about infant feeding in Ukraine.
We've already shown you the various brands of formula milk available in the country, and today we will focus on a product that, at least in our home country, Argentina, does not exist: special water for babies.
This water is used to prepare baby milk; it is safe for babies from birth and is available in different sizes: five-liter jugs, one-and-a-half-liter bottles, or half-liter bottles.
There are different brands, all of which are easy to identify because they feature some baby-related logo or image. It can be found in stores that sell baby products (in Ukraine, everything related to babies and children—such as toys, clothing, equipment, hygiene products, and food—is sold at one same store) and in supermarkets, in the same aisle as the formula milk.
Since liquid baby milk is hard to come by in Ukraine, this product is a great ally for families traveling and needing to use powdered milk to dilute.
Although in cases of surrogacy, some mothers choose to use induced lactation to feed their babies, they always need to complement it with formula milk, so this information is useful for all families.
