Undoubtedly, one of the most rewarding experiences in our last surrogacy process in Ukraine was spending time with Anna, our daughter's gestational carrier.
We had talked to her thanks to our coordinator's translation at different stages of the pregnancy, especially after the check-up ultrasounds, and we felt very comfortable with her.
As soon as we arrived in Kyiv, our coordinator organized a meeting, and we were able to welcome Anna into our Ukrainian home with a special lunch to get to know each other in person.
It was a day we will never forget, it happened with total naturalness and joy. The hours passed, and we continued talking, getting to know each other better, and strengthening the beautiful connection we had felt since our first virtual meetings.
Being able to hug her, thank her in person, caress her baby bump, and feel our daughter are moments that will be etched in our hearts, especially our son's, who could finally feel his little sister move and understand even better the magic of surrogacy and the angel who made our daughter's arrival possible.
This opportunity was another of the great gifts that we found in our second surrogacy experience in Ukraine, as in our first process at another surrogacy center, we hadn't had a first meeting with our gestational carrier like this.
And this was just the beginning of a beautiful friendship based on the greatest gratitude and admiration that could exist. The big day was approaching...
