Surrogacy is a relatively new method of assisted reproduction, which has recently become more well-known around the world. Let's define the three parties involved in the process, as follows:

Gestational carrier
Medical center
Intended parents are a couple (Ukraine requires parents to be a married heterosexual couple) who intend to become parents. Couples seek surrogacy when pregnancy is medically impossible, when pregnancy risks are too dangerous for the intended mother. The embryo may be created using the intended father's sperm and the intended mother's eggs; the intended father's sperm and a donor egg or the intended mother's eggs and donor sperm.
The gestational carrier is a woman who agrees to bear a child for another couple, who will become the child's parents after birth. She must be a healthy woman; having given birth to at least one child that she is raising.
The medical center is where the fertilization procedure takes place, followed by pregnancy controls and delivery.
Naturally, legal counsels may also take part in the process, according to the requirements in the country of origin.
