The first visit to the Ukrainian capital is made to sign contracts with the surrogacy center, the medical clinic, and the gestational carrier, as well as to contribute genetic material.
During this initial trip, our surrogacy center's program included, among other services, accommodation in a centrally located two-bedroom apartment situated in the same tower as their offices.
In our previous process, we had stayed at the surrogacy center's hotel, but this new experience of having our own apartment seemed much more positive to us. It was better located in a central neighborhood of Kyiv, had much more private space for work and rest, and we were just meters away from the surrogacy center's offices for any needs.
The video was filmed upon arriving at the apartment, including images of the baby equipment and the panoramic view that Gaby and Nico, Argentine parents whose baby was born in 2023 in Ukraine, filmed from their apartment in the same building, provided by the same surrogacy center.
Upon arriving at this two-bedroom apartment equipped with appliances, tableware, and linens, we were greeted with fresh fruits, yogurt, milk, juices, soft drinks, cold cuts, biscuits, and chocolates.
This same apartment can be booked through the surrogacy center for the second trip to Kyiv, as it comes equipped with the necessary items for newborn care: a crib, bathtub, and changing table. There is also the option to choose a larger apartment, similar to the one we stayed in 2021.
We'll be sharing more about the experience during the first trip to Kyiv, including transportation and meals, in future posts.
