Last weekend was a celebration of life and the most beautiful example of the deep love and gratitude families who resorted to surrogacy feel towards Ukraine, where so many made our family dream a reality.
Everyone in this community celebrated the birth of Julián in 2023, and we experienced his arrival in Ukraine through the eyes of his Argentinian parents, Gaby and Nico, who generously shared their surrogacy experiences and testimonies, which helped so many other families.
And just as his arrival was a celebration, his baptism and first birthday was a beautiful party: his family chose a place full of meaning and gratitude on that great occasion: the Cathedral of Ukraine in Buenos Aires, Santa María del Patrocinio.
After a beautiful baptism ceremony, the gathering continued at the church hall, where family and friends celebrated with the Ukrainian flag in the background, reminding everybody where this dream came true one year ago.
What an honor it was for us to be invited to Julián's birthday party, we felt so thankful for sharing so much happiness, while parents and children forge a friendship with a magical blue and yellow story in common.
