The video above shows moments in Kyiv in 2016 and 2021, when our surrogacy journey in search of our children was coming to an end and a new one was beginning: the journey of growing together as a family of four.
And this dad you see in the pictures, utterly in love with his newborn children, is much more than that: he is my unwavering partner in this family adventure, even before we could imagine all that was to come.
If I were to tell you that his marriage proposal came a year into our relationship, just before I went into the operating room for one of my many surgeries on this path of reproductive medicine, that he was there for every consultation and treatment in Buenos Aires, and that he was the first to pack our bags just weeks after the medical seminar that finally led us to surrogacy in Ukraine in 2015.
Today, I celebrate that privilege: having by my side someone who is not only my love and the father of my children but also my dream companion, who despite the bleak diagnoses, tears after consultations, uncertainty, and challenges, always believed in our family and in that magical surrogacy journey to Ukraine that changed our lives...
